Timaru CityTown is a multi-organisational programme led by the council to enable the regeneration of the Timaru city centre.

Following several years of strategy development, design work and trails the council, private sector and community were becoming frustrated with the lack of physical progress. The council decided to adopt a programme approach that brought together the private sector, public sector entities and the community to help establish a prioritised plan.

Auxilium was called in to establish the programme approach and consider actual available funds and use evidence to prioritise the short, medium and long-term options in a Timaru CityTown Interim Investment and Delivery Plan for Timaru City Council.
